Yesterday I was thinking about how to get the tentacle to curve like this:
I was conflating the direction that the IK algorithm is applied and the initial positions of the segments. I can try doing those separately. Another possibility is angle constraints on the first tentacle segment or on all tentacle segments.
Found a bug:
The first segment doesn’t seem to be able to register as fixed when it collides with the surface.
I think I’m’a need a task tracker. Guess I can try out that feature in Todoist with something that I actually make regular progress with, hah.
